Reading Time: 5 minutesSwachhata Pakhwada was observed in September in Doaba Public School, Parowal, under the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, to promote and inculcate the habit of cleanliness.
Also, covering along was the ‘Poshan Abhiyan’ launched by Honourable Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi Ji to improve healthy eating habits by promoting nutrition.
Several activities were conducted under the patronage of different clubs of the school viz.

– Group Discussion on Nutrition Affects Cognitive Development in Children
– Essay writing competition on COVID-19 Responsive School
– Painting/Poster making on Clean India
– Quiz competition on COVID-19 And its Protocol
– Skit on Importance of Cleanliness & Hygiene
– Model making on Clean & Healthy Environment
– Slogan writing on Go Green to Breathe Clean
– Pledge on Poshan Abhiyan
– Nukkad Natak on Pollution & Millet Kranti
– Inspection of different areas of school to check the water and sanitary facilities.
All the participants were appreciated for their endeavours. Winners were felicitated with Trophies & Certificates on the concluding day of the event by Director Mrs Harpreet Kaur.
