Doaba Public School had the immense pleasure of welcoming back our proud alumnus, Mr. Jatinder Singh from the Batch of 2011. Vlog Making Competition

Doaba Public School proudly announces the extraordinary achievement of its students, Rayna Bhalla (XII) and Anmol Kaur (XI), who clinched the second position in the prestigious Jalandhar Sahodaya Inter School Vlog Making Competition held in Phagwara. With participation from 33 schools across three districts, the competition served as a platform for showcasing talent and creativity, and our students excelled by demonstrating their innovative vlogging skills. Slogan Writing Competition

We are delighted to announce the outstanding achievement of Simar Rayat, a bright student from class XII at Doaba Public School. Green School Award

Doaba Public School, Parowal, is overjoyed to announce that we have been honoured with the prestigious Green School Award, which is a testament to our unwavering commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness. The Memories

It was a heartwarming and nostalgic day at Doaba Public School as we welcomed our esteemed alumna, Ms Jasleen Kaur from the 2019 batch, for a special visit to her alma mater. Ms Kaur’s school tour was filled with joy and reminiscence as she reconnected with her teachers and fondly cherished the memories of her time at our school. Her excitement and enthusiasm during the visit were truly infectious and reflected the deep affection she holds for her school.

ATL Marathon 2023-24

Doaba Public School participated in the prestigious ATL Marathon 2023-24, a national-level innovation challenge presented by Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, UNICEF, and other stakeholders. This competition aimed to encourage young innovators to address community issues and develop working prototypes of innovative solutions. Our talented Doabians came up with a remarkable creation called the ‘FITNESS TRACKER,’ a smart device that allows users to monitor their fitness levels by detecting their breath and touch. Their innovative idea was recognised and appreciated, and the students received Certificates of Appreciation for their outstanding work.

Youth Men – Skeet Championship

Doaba Public School is thrilled to announce that Gurfateh Singh Sandhu, a student in class XII, has made us all proud by winning the GOLD MEDAL in the Youth Men – Skeet Championship under the 6th Khelo India Youth Games, which was held in Chennai from 19.01.2024 to 31.01.2024. This championship is an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, India. Gurfateh’s remarkable achievement is a result of his unwavering dedication, commitment, and hard work towards his passion for shooting.

66th National Shotgun Championship

DPS Parowal takes immense pride in announcing the outstanding achievement of our Shooting champion, Gurfateh Singh Sandhu from class XII. Gurfateh has brought honour not only to our school but also to the state by securing a Silver Medal in the 66th National Shotgun Championship Skeet Juniors Men 2023.

Gurfateh was selected as a Khelo India Athlete in the sports discipline shooting under Khelo India Talent Development Programme, an initiative of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of India. His unwavering dedication, hard work, strength and positive attitude towards his goal have culminated in this well-deserved success.

CBSE Swimming Competition

We are pleased to announce that students of Doaba Public School, Parowal bagged Silver Medal at CBSE Zonal Level Swimming Competition and qualified for Nationals. It was a matter of great pride for the budding swimmers U-11 category to participate in the National Championship held at Genuis School, Rajkot, Gujrat.The complete trip of the students was sponsored by the school wherein four students Mansahib of class IV, Naksh Bedi of class IV, Abhimanyu of class IV and Samar Singh of class V participated under the supervision of a senior faculty member and mentorship of the swimming coach.

CBSE Zonal Level | Swimming Competition

We our proud to announce that our team of four students: Mansahib of Grade IV, Naksh Bedi of Grade IV, Abhimanyu of Grade IV and Samar Singh of Grade V earned the second position in under-11, 4X50 meter freestyle relay at the CBSE Zonal Level by exceeding their competition. Also, they are qualified for National Level.

Dhariti Gupta of class VII stood in 5th position overall in 50-meter backstroke under-14 Girls.
Sahaj Arora of class VI stood in 5th position overall in 50-meter backstroke under-14 Boys.

CBSE Cluster XVIII | Athletics Championship-2022 | Athletics Winners

We are proud to announce that our student of class X (A3) Amanpreet Kaur bagged a Gold Medal in the long jump, under-17 category and Kashish bagged a Silver Medal in the long jump, under-14 category at CBSE Cluster XVIII, Athletics Championship-2022. In Athletics, Amanpreet Kaur bagged a Gold medal in the 100m race under-17 and Kashish Rana of class XII (Medical) bagged a Gold medal in Shot-put and a Gold medal in Discuss Throw.

Both the athletes qualified for national and the boys are in the best eight.

SCIENCE FIESTA – Innovation & Start Up

For the National Science Day celebration, B.A.M. Khalsa College in Garhshankar, in cooperation with IIC, invited our school to a Science Fiesta-Innovation & Start-Up. The event took place on February 28, 2022, and the theme was “Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future.”

ATL Marathon 2020

An opportunity to work on a problem you are passionate about by building a prototype and implementing it. It’s one step closer to a #Aatmanirbhar Bharat!

To contribute to this great cause, Doaba Public Sen. Sec. School students worked on the problem statement: “Improve systems in rural areas using technology tools to bridge connectivity.” For this, we use 3D software to make a 3D model of the rural area in which all the technological equipment that was earlier a part of the urban area now becomes a part of the rural area as well.

Youth Forum

The Global Changemakers Project is a unique opportunity for young people to connect with global leaders. This opportunity has been shared with us by Avasarshala and the Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) Raise startup.

Our school students participated in the India selections for the Global Changemakers Project by Youth Forum Switzerland during October 2021. It was a coveted opportunity for your children to compete among students from Europe and United States.

Encouraging Entrepreneurial Skills

Pranav Goyal, an ex-student of the school, gave a talk on entrepreneurship, personal branding and finance under an initiative by the school called DOABA talks. He is currently working as Growth and Marketing Lead at Stratzy (His funded startup is backed by prominent investors like Kunal Bahal (Founder Snapdeal)).

He also shared his views on the startup ecosystem in India.

CAT 2020 topper with perfect 100 percentile

Aryan Kapoor, a proud achiever of Doaba Public Sen. Sec. School Parowal, recently topped the prestigious CAT exam in his first attempt with a perfect 100 percentile. He is one of 9 toppers all over India. He was also being recognized and appreciated by Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amrinder Singh Ji for his hard work, determination & commitment on his Twitter handle.
