Foundational Stage (Nursery to Grade 2)
At Doaba Public School, the Foundational Stage curriculum is structured around domains aligned with the child’s development: physical, socio-emotional-ethical, cognitive, language and literacy, as well as aesthetic and cultural development. The school houses a specialized foundational wing dedicated to cultivating the seeds of success by nurturing the youngest learners. Through a play-based approach, vibrant classrooms, and interactive play areas, our experienced staff fosters holistic development across these crucial domains, laying a robust foundation for future achievements.
Preparatory Stage (Grade 3 to Grade 5)
Doaba Public School’s Preparatory Stage curriculum covers languages, mathematics, arts, physical education, and the interdisciplinary “world around us,” aimed at developing an understanding of the natural and social worlds. This pivotal stage represents the start of students recognizing their responsibilities and inherent abilities. Our primary wing provides ample, well-equipped classrooms and access to facilities such as a Computer Lab and playgrounds.
Middle Stage (Grade 6 to Grade 8)
In the Middle Stage at Doaba Public School, our curriculum expands to encompass the Sciences – focusing on the natural world, and Social Sciences – exploring the human world. Building upon the foundations laid in the Preparatory Stage, students in the Middle Stage engage more deeply with knowledge and values. Each Curricular Area is approached as a ‘form of understanding,’ encouraging students to actively participate in paradigmatic theories and conceptual structures. Our middle wing offers spacious classrooms and complete access to facilities like the Computer Lab, Audio-Visual Lab, Composite Science Lab, and Mathematics Lab. To enhance learning, we utilize smart classes to provide a comprehensive, three-dimensional understanding of Science and Mathematics concepts.
Secondary Stage (Grade 9 to Grade 12)
At the Secondary Stage, Doaba Public School introduces a comprehensive four-year interdisciplinary curriculum that builds upon the focused approach of the Middle Stage. This stage places a strong emphasis on cultivating critical thinking skills, individual goal-setting, and encouraging student agency, enabling a deeper exploration of each subject. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to cater to the diverse needs of students, aiming to nurture a spectrum of skills and personal attributes. By incorporating major learning areas encompassing academic subjects and extracurricular activities, the secondary curriculum equips students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for future challenges and opportunities.
Doaba Public School boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure with fully equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics Labs, facilitating hands-on learning experiences for students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-life applications.
